Midwives Cooperative is proud to be in network with Sunshine Medicaid plans. Sunshine Medicaid covers the costs of prenatal care, labor & birth, and postpartum visits. We are not in-network with private insurance carriers.

For a fee, patients can opt-in to insurance billing services with Cosmic Birth Billing, LLC. Cosmic Billing offers verification of insurance benefits, gap exceptions and claim submissions to assist with reimbursement by your private insurance provider. A 5% discount is offered for payment at full at the initial visit (cash only).

Care Package Rates

Prenatal Care, Home Birth & Postpartum Care

$6000

Complete care that encompasses prenatal care, skilled in-home labor management, and postpartum care. Includes:

  • Routine prenatal visits in office, 45 minutes

  • Routine and non-routine lab work through pregnancy and postpartum (billable to insurance or $500 additional for uninsured clients)

  • Referrals as needed for ultrasounds and OB assessments

  • Home prenatal visit at 36 weeks

  • Labor, birth, immediate postpartum care, and newborn exam

  • Labor and newborn medications, as needed

  • Home visits at 24-48 hours and two weeks postpartum

  • Postpartum visit with cervical cancer screening and contraceptive options

  • On-call availability for the duration of your care

Prenatal & Postpartum Care Only

$3500

Comprehensive care during pregnancy and postpartum for planned hospital births. Includes:

  • Routine prenatal visits in office, 45 minutes

  • Routine and non-routine lab work through pregnancy and postpartum (billable to insurance or $500 additional for uninsured clients)

  • Referrals as needed for ultrasounds and OB assessments

  • Phone labor triage for planned hospital births

  • Home visits at one and three weeks postpartum

  • Postpartum visit with cervical cancer screening and contraceptive options

  • On-call availability for the duration of your care

Prenatal, Postpartum & Montrice Care

$4500

The best of both: midwifery-led prenatal and postpartum care with the added benefit of expert in-home labor triage before heading to the hospital for your birth. Includes:

  • Routine prenatal visits in office, 45 minutes

  • Routine and non-routine lab work through pregnancy and postpartum (billable to insurance or $500 additional for uninsured clients)

  • In-home labor triage and support before heading to the hospital

  • Home visits at one and three weeks postpartum

  • Postpartum visit with cervical cancer screening and contraceptive options

  • On-call availability for the duration of your care

Ancillary charges not included in our care fee:

  • Birth pool rental ($250), optional

  • Childbirth education ($100 in house), required for those new to out of hopsital birth

  • Birth kit ($45-$92), includes essential supplies for your home birth

  • Labs are submitted to your insurance first. Any patient responsibility (such as copays or deductibles) will depend on your specific coverage.
